Colorful La Plancha, Bali

La Plancha is a colorful beach shack in Seminyak. A perfect beach hangout with good music, great atmosphere and nice sunsets. Giant beanbag cushions in the sand, furnitures made of recycled boat-wood material in bright colors and flower pots all over the place add real charm to this place. Worth a visit!

Casa Skjelderup – Bedrooms

Some photos of the bedrooms in Casa Skjelderup. I am so happy that we found the rough brick wall behind some layers of wallpapers and plasterboards!
The bed is made out of recycled pallets – great storage for books etc.

Vintage Chesterfield sofas

I bought these Chesterfield sofas at Birkelunden flea-market some weeks ago. I was so afraid that someone else would buy them that I bought them right away without thinking if I really needed them and without discussing it with my live-in boyfriend.
I love my new sofas, but unfortunately my boyfriend hates them. So while they are stored in the basement I am trying to convince him with some inspirational photos.

Me: «Look at the beautiful Chesterfields on these photos! Must be a very comfortable sofa since the dog loves it!»
Him: «We already have a very comfortable sofa.»

Me: «Look!! They even have a Chesterfield sofa in the Humphrey´s Brooklyn loft on Gossip Girl!»
Him: «And so what??»

Hmm.. What to do?

Birkelunden Flea Market

Every sunday there is a big flea market at Birkelunden park on Grünerløkka in Oslo. Here you’ll find antique furnitures, ceramics, glassware, vintage clothes, toys and more.  I bought these dining chairs in teak and vinyl there last weekend:
